We’ve had a tough couple of months. A lot of hard-core reality checks. Too many spread sheets. Working crazy hours. I can’t get to sleep and Britt keeps having early anxiety wake ups.

We had planned to hook up with Alex from It’s Nice That to chat through a few things yesterday and Louise from APFEL stopped by. Lovely as she is, she came with with arms full of Albion cakes and Shandy pages, fresh from the printers.

We’ve just had the colours for Tristram Shandy in from APFEL. And we’re trying to choose just the right shade of fluorescent orange. We’re talking seriously fluorescent here.

Our trip to Die Keure, Belgium

We just spent a couple of days in Belgium with Wouter of Die Keure, talking through all the production issues of Tree of Codes and seeing it in situ.

Making and cutting a dummy...by hand

This week we gathered a group of lovely students from LCC together this week, to help us out in Sara De Bondt’s studio, making a full hand cut version of Tree of Codes to see exactly how the pages work in relation to eachother.
